1949 GMC 100 Additional Info:

1949 GMC 100.

Brand new build just competed with around 750 miles on it. This is a well built truck featuring a solid original black paint truck wearing what's left of its original paint with Great Patina. Everything on this truck but the body is new or rebuilt. Up front it's riding on a new IFS with tubular upper and lower control arms, new shocks stopping with 12" drilled and slotted rotors steering with a new rack and pinion. In the rear we have a late model F Body rearend with new Belltech leaf springs new shocks and stopping with disc brakes with all new rotors calipers and lines front to rear. Running a nice sounding 350 SBC V8 with new exhaust system backed up by a smooth shifting 350Turbo Automatic transmission. New wiring harness front to rear new gauges and all new sending units. New fuel system tank and lines. This old body has some of the best patina you'll fin, the floor, cab corner, inner and outer door bottom on right side and kick panels have been replaced The doors open and close nicely with all new latchs, door windows roll up and down as the should with all new glass door windows, windshield and rear window. The interior has a basic factory bench seat with a nice black vinyl cover, new door panels, new headliner and new carpet with Kill Mat sound deadener placed all on cab floor, behind seat and roof. I used the original Column for steering andwhat I think is a 53 Chevrolet passenger car steering wheel also modified the the original 3 speed column shifter to shift the automatic transmission. New bed wood and bed strips. Rolling on brand new American Racing Torque Thrust wheels 20x10 on the rear with 245/45/20 tires and 18x8 upfront with 225/45/18.

I just took this truck to Crusin the Coast in Mississippi and put about 300 miles on it cruising around last week, it ran great and is blast to drive with a killer stance and look!!
