For sale this ad, the GMC 1500 Sierra you've been looking for, one you can drive, show, and enjoy. Look at the pictures, they tell the tale,extremely nice lightly moded, 1972 GMC half ton, short/wide box, with Sierra trim package, rally wheels factory air, steering, brakes, factory tach, hounds tooth seat cover, cab floor is insulated, new carpet, new head liner.
Recent restoration; new attention grabbing black and silver paint, new bumpers, trim, grill, rims, beauty rings, and center caps, tires, box is steel and coated. Still has original factory build sticker, owner's manual, and warranty book inside glove box door, And the factory vehicle start procedure on the sun visor.
Drive line: 350 crate engine Turbo 350 Automatic. Runs and shifts very good. Diff rebuilt in Nov. 2015. New one piece drive shaft May 2015. Brakes are near new (stops smooth and straight)
Original factory chassis, frame is straight and accident free, recent 4 wheel alignment, drives and handles well, and rides very good for a short wheel base pickup. Lowered 2" in front (drop spindles) and 3" in rear (shorter springs) for that classic mod stance. All done with drivability and comfort in mind.
History as I know it: This is a rust free Arizona truck. Restoration/ rebuild was completed in 2014. I purchased it in 2014 from the builder at the 2014 Scottsdale Good Guys show. No cost spared on build. Truck shows 15,000 miles (newSpeedometer) of which I've driven 4,000. Truck is very clean top to bottom, and is in well maintained turnkey condition. Have decided at my age, it's time to reduce down to one daily and one 1957 chevy show car. So it's time for this one to move on to new owner.
