1986 GMC Sierra 1500 Additional Info:

This is one beautiful truck! Hate to sell it, but I have too many vehicles. I have had this truck since May 2014, and bought it from an engineer that spent 2 years rebuilding it with $36,000 invested, including a bit more than $16,000 just in the 383 Stroker build, I was told. It has around 8,500 miles on it since the rebuild.
The AutoCheck report shows this history with a Rebuilt/Rebuildable title in 1996, however no accidents show up in the history. Here is what the report states:The vehicle was a salvaged vehicle that was refurbished with new or used parts. An affidavit of repair from the rebuilder or individual making the repairs, stating what repairs were made to the vehicle and that the vehicle is now rebuilt and road operable, may be required to obtain a rebuilt/rebuildable title. These vehicles must also pass a state safety inspection before being allowed back on the road. That was 21 years ago. The history also shows the truck had been driven 194,000 miles. and the excellent body condition with the worn out drive train made it an excellent candidate for a modernizing restoration. I spoke to they guy I bought it from, and he told me that the truck came from another state with no title, and the state of Georgia assigned a rebuilt/rebuildable. AutoCheck has no history prior to 1996, but also states NO ACCIDENTS. The clean title I have is not marked salvage/rebuild/rebuildable in any way - it's just a clean Georgia title.
Truck was purchased for restoration 16 years later in August 2012, and sold when project was finished in 2014. Milage since rebuild is approximately 8500.
