1992 Geo Metro Additional Info:

92 metro 3cyl 5spd I have driven this car back and forth to work for 5 years. I recently bought a newer metro to make the commute and no longer need this one.

Around 12k miles ago I ran it hot and blew the head gasket. At that time the bottem end was rebuilt and I replaced the head with a remanufactured head. New clutch, water pump and belts at that time. The fuel pump was also replaced around the same time.
3 tires are new with less that 100 miles on them. The door panel is missing on the drivers door and the window regulator is messed up. The window goes up and down it just takes a little work. The plastic door handle is missing off of the drivers door and the outside handle on the passengers side is broke too. Missing a window crank too.
I was going to find a new drivers door and replace the whole door. Just never got around to it.
The a.c. system has a leak on the condenser. I had it cooling a few years ago but the a.c. belt isn't installed right now. Heat works as it should.
The guy I bought it from back in 2011 put a battery cut off switch on because he claimed if the car sat for a long time it would drain the battery. I've let it sit for weeks at a time and never had this issue. It does have a shut off switch installed tho.
Sometimes you have to jigle the plug on the back of the drivers headlight to get it to come on. Simple fix just a loose wire I'm sure but I haven't tried to fix it.
The car defiantly isn't perfect and could use a little work but it is rust free and at one time I was getting 50-55mpg. My best was 57 babying it.
For the past 6 months it has only been driven around my neighborhood and has not seen the open road. It may be ok but I wouldn't recommed making a long trip in it as it sits.
