We sell Broncos, about 4 per month on average. It never fails when we have a red one, people want a gray one. Get a gray one, they want black. It goes on & on. The good thing about Bronco enthusiasts is that they tend to want to customize their Bronco. Here is the perfect palate for your dream Bronco. This Bronco has a fully photo documented frame off restoration. It is equipped with the most often requested equipment and it is basically ready for your paint & interior preferences. Why spend $60k on a Bronco when it isn’t that dream color of Existential Gray or Ferrari Red with a Cream or Graphite Interior? You can do it all to your tastes and save buckets of $ having it done yourself.

This Bronco comes with a 3-ring binder of photos documenting the restoration which was done in 2008. Since then there has been little use, maybe 5k miles, figure about 10% wear on the Goodyear tires. During the restoration the body was stripped of its rusty floors and new reproduction units installed. The rest of the tub interior was cleaned & prepped with a coat of bedliner to preserve them. The body has had some bodywork but will need more prior to paint. The driver’s door post has the typical rust issues and will need to be replaced, a new replacement unit is included. The rockers as seen in the photos are in good condition. The factory hard top is in good condition with nice glass and should be an easy repaint.

The frame was sandblasted & painted in durable chassis black paint. A new 5” suspension kit from Tom’s Broncos was selected & installed. This is the high dollar kit with extended length arms, new rear leaf & coil springs, extended track bar brackets, urethane bushings & more. Each corner has dual Rancho shocks as well.

The engine was reported as having been rebuilt, though there are no photos of the work. The transmission, transfer case and both axles are reported to have been rebuilt as well. Photos do show a rebuilt transfer case, transmission & new drivelines from Tom’s being installed. The front axle was upgraded to a high pinion Dana 44 that allows for more ground clearance as well as being more ‘caster friendly’ for driveline u-joint angles. Out back the 9” is also reported to have been a rebuilt unit from Tom’s stock. The components all work properly.

Inside the interior is still the stock trim. The seats have their worn original upholstery and the dash still wears its original Wimbledon white paint. The floors of course have been lined and look nice. Your preferences may be to recover the stock seats, repaint the dash white as new or go with a set of Sport Seats from Toms, black carpet & door panels. Either way you still have your choice of where to go.

The 35” Goodyear MTR’s are still in good condition and have around 90% of their tread left. The Mickey Thompson 15” wheels are a simulated bead-lock design and look great. Fitment is good on these too with a nice full wheel well.

So here you have it. A good, solid Bronco with documented restoration work. Pick your color, pick your interior because the mechanicals have already been tastefully done. No need to kind of like the color. No need to be just OK with the interior. You get to decide which way this book ends and save HUGE over what this work would cost to do. But you had better hurry, because if it doesn’t sell quick we are sending this one off to paint!
