1935 Ford Other Additional Info:

We spent years restoring Model A Fords and always thought it was a shame when they got street rodded. I see now their is little interest in the originals after listing both thesecars 3 times... Over the winter I will take both 35's add 40 Ford juice brakes, install a small block Chevy motor using an adapter to the original Ford transmission, new original style street rod radiator, new exhaust and in the spring have two MUCH more desirable restorods..... Then they should sell easily at auction as that's what people seem to want now..........

This is a 15 year restoration of a solid original mileage barn fresh 1935 Ford convertible sedan, one of the rarest models made.. This was the first year of this body style, it was just like the Phaeton as it is a 4 door convertible but has glass roll up windows instead of side curtains...... This car sat in barn storage for over 40 years up Maine and was bought by a friend of mine over 20 years ago and he stored it away. She is Washington blue, Straw wheels and pin stripes, has a LB flat head motor, original 3 speed transmission, beautiful original frame and suspension. The drive train was restoredwhen he bought it and the motor was done then but it needs to be run as I believe she currently has some stuck rings due to blow by when it warms up.The car was totally dismantled, every steel part, nut, bolt and screwwas sand blasted to clean original metal. Body needed almost nothing for work, original fenders are nice (no welds on the beads, all glass replaced, stainless frames cleaned, new Lebaron & Bonney top and interior, new tires, tubes, bumpers and much much more....A boot is available thru Lebaron & Bonney for the top when folded down.... This is a very nicely donevehicle, the second highest value of any of the 35's..... Any more questions call me at 603-942-6118.....
