1951 Ford Other Pickups F1 half ton pickup truck Additional Info:

Up for sale here I have my original olive drab green 1951 Ford F1 flathead V8 truck that was used on Ft. Sill Oklahoma early in life and not used much after that! The truck was last tagged Oklahoma tax exempt and shows 45055 miles. The truck has some very unique arrow turn signals front and back that I believe to be military equipment. It has military lettering on both sides of the hood, both front fenders, the glove door and the bottom of the drivers door. The exterior lettering was somewhat painted over probably when it was decommissioned by the military. The truck has a clear Ks title that matches the tag inside the glove box door. Surprisingly the 8BA flathead still turns over and I have done nothing to free it up. It has a three speed transmission on the column. The truck rolls and steers easy and will have good tires for transport. The truck is missing very little mainly the glass, the bed floor, the air cleaner, radiator cap and drivers side headlight trim ring. The truck has some bullet holes through the windshield but none through the metal. The truck does have dents on alot of the panels but fairly minimal rust. The frame is straight and solid. I'm including a slightly better tailgate because the one on the truck is pretty bad. There's a very small amount of rust in the front fenders. The drivers floor and header panel above the windshield are the worst part mostly due to nesting rodents over the years. The drivers door and hood don't latch but they will be secured for shipment. I have a shutterfly album with over 100 photos of the truck and its 1951fordf1.shutterfly.com. The truck would be awesome to replace the necessary parts and use it as is or slam it on the ground with a modern V8 but I would keep the exterior the same either way. The truck is selling with no reserve and it is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed. All serious bidders are welcome. Thanks and good luck bidding.
