1935 Ford Deluxe Phaeton Offered as a Buy-It-Now Auction. Make us an offer!

This fine example is one of 6,073, 1935 Ford Deluxe Phaetons produced. This older restoration has just come out of a collection. The desirable color combination and wire wheels add to the stunning attractiveness of the very straight Phaeton body. The correct 85 horse power Flathead V8 and three speed transmission makes this automobile a pleasure to drive. The correct grey brown veal grain interior in the correct stitch pattern, is without flaw (no rips or tears) and only shows very slight wear. The top and side curtains show little wear. The correct tan top complements the car nicely. The parade top boot is included.
The paint shows very well with only slight wear and minor scratches round the hood louvers and headlights, which could be easily touched up. The underside of the car is very clean and painted black. Optional equipment includes clock, Radio, and deluxe running board trim. All chrome work is bright and free from rust or corrosion. Several extra parts are included: A rear seat windshield, driving lights, spot light, Greyhound mascot, and more.
The car is ready for tour or show. The car runs and drives very well and is just the thing for your next AACA or Ford V8 Club event. The Mid 30's Ford Phaeton is one of the most desirible Pre War Fords and prices are rapidly rising. They rarely become available so this represents a rare chance to acquire an important Ford-a buying decision that will pay dividends in the years to come.

Visually, the 1935 Ford was much more modern with the grille pushed forward and made more prominent by de-emphasized and more-integrated fenders. A major advance was a true integrated trunk on "trunkback" sedans, though the traditional "flatback" was also offered. Outdated body styles like the Victoria were also deleted for the year. Two trim lines were offered, standard and DeLuxe, across a number of body styles including a base roadster, five-window coupe, three-window coupe, Tudor and Fordorsedans in flatback or trunkback versions, a convertible sedan, a woody station wagon, and new Model 51 truck. Chevrolet regained the sales lead at the end of 1936, but the Ford still sold extremely well. A new club cabriolet model was introduced with a fully-framed windshield and weatherproof top, and the convertible sedan gained the popular integrated trunkback design.
The look was updated with an inverted pentagonal grille with all-vertical bars beneath a prominent hood and three horizontal chrome side strips (on DeLuxe models). A concealed horn, long a prominent part of the Ford's design, also brought the car into modern times. Other major changes for 1936 were the use of pressed steel "artillery" solid wheels instead of wire wheels. Our Ebay Policies:
Significant Cars is one of the largest Collector Car Brokers and Dealers in the Country. Since 2003 we have worked hard to "change the way collector cars find new homes" by providing unparralleled web presentation of the cars we are representing.
