1932 Ford Model A Additional Info:

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION we have for sale a good looking 1931 Ford Model A Sedan. The 4 cyclinder flat head engine starts good and runs good. The interior is very nice, the brakes OK for a Model A, car drives good, glass clear, chrome good, but not new. The paint is driver quality, the body is dark blue and the fenders black, the creamy yellow wheels look just right.

VIN is 4064662

ADDED OIL AND TEMP GAUGE!

HORN WORKS!

HOW MANY MILES ON THE CAR? I do not have a clue, it is reading 573 and we think thats from restoration.

HOW DOES THE CAR RUN? To me it runs very strong for a Model A.

HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is a 4 cycliner flat-head that runs good. I hear no knocks or pings other than the normal loud Model A sounds. It starts good, I see no blue smoke. It is not the original engine, but its a correct fit.

HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 3 speed manual that is good. I feel no slip in the clutch and no chatter. These were not sycronized transmissions, it shifts better with a double clutching. The clutch is set close to the floor, I like it that way (it releases close to the floor).

HOW IS THE PAINT? Its driver quality! To stand back from the car it is great. Up close its showing some age, several touched up chips and nicks and some dulling. The old man that owned the car put tons of wax on it, I washed the car 3 times and cleaned was out of cracks for a long time. This was a good and bad thing. It protects and shines, but looks bad in cracks. By saying its a driver quality paint I mean this, it looks good, but has flaws and chips. I would go as far is saying the paint is weak under inspection.

HOW IS THE INTERIOR? It is nice every where you look, the upholstery show no wear, I do see a coupel of minor cracks in the floor mat and steering wheel.

HOW ARE THE WHEELS? Painted nice!

HOW ARE THE TIRES? I see no cracks, but they are worn, the right drivers side is worn the most. If you drive local they will last a long time, if you tour, it needs new ones.

HOW IS THE TRUNK? Looks nice, no real wear.

HOW IS THE GLASS? Good glass, windshield does push out for cooking.

HOW IS THE CHROME? Nice, but not new.

HISTORY: All I can tell you is my friend from Ohio bought the car from a man in Indiana. This is proven on the title.

WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
