1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

This 1965 Ford Mustang is an awesome way to get into the hobby at an affordable price. With an upgrade to a 302, A/C interior, and iconic Wimbledon White paint, this is a turnkey ready classic that has everything you want.Wimbledon White is always an excellent choice on an early Mustang, especially the coupes. This one looks particularly nice because it's a later professional application that utilizes modern paints & clearcoat to really let it pop in the sunlight. It's also nicely detailed, with a correct "crosshair" grille, bright chrome bumpers, cool inserts in the quarter panel vents, and those iconic badges on the front fenders. Just like the paint, all of this looks fantastic because any of the chrome that was not mirror-like was replaced (the original pieces come with the sale.) You're probably starting to get the full picture on this one. It has been restored and cared for so that it is just like the icon you grew up admiring right down to the factory-style optional steel wheels. The interior is the same deal, restored to look its best. The seat covers, carpeting, door panels, and headliner have all received attention so that it is a fresh and deep black. In-between the buckets is a matching black center console that is easily removable, but most of us will find the cup holders a very welcomed addition. The sea of black is broken up by bright trim on the factory-style three-spoke steering wheel, original gauge package, heat/defrost controls, gearshift leaver, and the upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner for easier adaptation to modern music players. But the best and brightest element in the interior is the air conditioner. Now you can look cool AND stay cool cruising around with the windows down on a warm day.The badges on the fender might say 289, but the engine bay has a nice surprise upgrade. This one is powered by a 302 cubic-inch V8 motor, which is larger than anything you could get in a Mustang for 1965. The superior powerplant doesn't look out of place in the engine bay, and it even has some nice flair with the bright valve covers and air cleaner. But the larger displacement is really felt on the road where it delivers a welcomed extra wallop of power when you need it. Add that to great driving features like power steering, three-speed automatic, and modern Hankook Optimo tires, and this is the kind of classic coupe that you will love to take everywhere.Compete with restoration receipts and the owner's manual, this is a cut above classic at the perfect price. You can probably picture yourself driving everywhere from car shows to the morning commute in this V8 and A/C vintage Mustang. But you're not the only one doing this, so hurry up and call before this deal is gone!
