1971 Ford Other Group II Additional Info:
Here is my 1971 Ford Pinto for sale at no reserve.
This a neat little car that runs and drives well. This car has the 2.0 four cylinder with a C-4 automatic transmission. The motor has a mild cam, headers, Spearco four barrel manifold with a brand new Quick Fuel 450 cfm carb.
The motor has a set of M/T valve cover and timing cover set, Walsh racing adjustable timing gear, new fuel pump, radiator, and battery.
Included with the car is a very rare Ak Miller turbo kit that is all complete with detailed installation instructions. This kit easily double the Pinto's hp from 100 hp to 200 hp at 15 psi of boost.
A brand new in the box Performance electronic distributor, wires, coil and module never installed. No more points to mess with anymore.
I have the original bucket seats, but they are ok condition and should be redone.
The rear end is upgraded unit with 3.55 gears. I still have the original one as well, that goes with the car.
This car came with the "Group II" package, it was available at the dealership and from a company called AutoSport Inc in Michigan. The kit included a the wrap around stripe, center console, aluminum slot 13" wheels, badges on the dash and fenders and hood pins. The car still has all of these pieces, except the slot wheels were missing when I bought it. I found another set of 13x5.5 in front and 13x7 in the back slots and a new set of Cooper Cobra 60 series 13" tires for it.
The car has a CD player in the trunk as well as a AM/FM 8 track player with a box of 8 tracks to listen to.
The car a 10 gallon fuel cell in the trunk, with working fuel gauge. All lights and gauges work properly.
--The car has a clear title in my name.
The car does have a few rust spots but not many, in the corners of both doors there is a little and around the seam above the door molding on the passenger side. I've had the car on a lift and couldn't find any in the floors underneath.
I have a lot invested in this car but don't have the time or space to work on it anymore, so I'm letting it go. Car is being sold as is, no warranty.
So bid to win a car nobody else has.
