1928 Ford Model A Additional Info:

Up for Auction I have what I believe to be a very late 1928 Model A Roadster. This car is all original, it has handles on the outside doors and is titled as a 1928. Because of this, I believe it is a late production car. The car sits on a very nice original frame with a NOS 1933/1934 front axle and wishbone. It also has a completely rebuilt 1942 Ford rear Banjo axle. This axle was shortened and Model A hangars for the spring were installed. It also has all new seals and bearings. The Transmission is a 1939 top loader that was also, rebuilt (very nice). The engine is a 59 A-B Flathead that runs great, shows 55 pounds oil pressure at idle. But does smoke a little, this may be due to the fact that it sat in a garage for many years covered with a tarp. I noticed the more it runs, the better it gets. So, it needs to be driven. It was rebuilt at one time by a company called DURA- BUILT in Los Angeles, California. The radiator is new and the carburetor is NOS Ford. The Water Pumps are new as well as the headers and distributor. The clutch throwout bearing and u-joint are all new. Also, the rear tail light is an original Yankee Light from the 1940's and 50's. The Nevada plate goes with the sale. Front Windshield glass is new. Seats are reupholstered with memory foam. It has a new floor and an original 1940 Ford Steering Wheel. All the Instruments seem to work. The Brakes are all new with new brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, and functioning emergency brake. All the rims were media blasted and painted with epoxy paint. Than four new Tires and tubes were installed and balanced with 7.50 x 16 in the rear and 6.50 x 16 in the front. This gives the car a very nice rake and that traditional high boy look. The paint is original Henry Ford black with that real nice patina look. Not fake patina. The headlights are GUIDE Lamps 903. Rear shocks are Atlas that were made in the 1950's. Still were in the original box. Also, included is the original top and fan blade with the accessories seen in the last picture. This car would be perfect for Trog since, it's so original. Or, a father and son project all the hard work has been done. Contact me if you have any questions.
