1970 Ford Torino Coupe Additional Info:

MOTOR TREND CAR OF THE YEAR 1970.

Do not bid if you need to see the vehicle first... Thetimeframe to complete the sale will not change or be amendedfor you to get back from your mission to Mars or your SEAL Team Six mission. Don't you love the stories, or how many guys were SEAL's?!?!? lol

Designed by Bill Schenk was inspired by the supersonic aircraft with a narrow waist and bulging forward and rear fuselage needed to reach supersonic speeds.Numbers matching SportsRoof model with the original 351 Cleveland.

If you're looking for a $10,000 or $15,000 Torino then keep looking because you'll be lucky to sniff the exhaust at either of those numbers. There's $10,000 under the hood alone, and the Ferrari Grigio Silverstone (Dark Grey Metallic)paint was $8,000.

Yes,you are looking at THEoriginal engine. Ask any car guy what it takes (labor hours and money)to make a nearly half century old original engine compartment look like that... Not only does it look pretty, but it's basically a new engine. The enginewas broken down piece by piece and put back together better than it was onthe day it was delivered from Cleveland. The Cleveland was the upgrade to the 351 Windsor.

When you turn the key it sounds amazing! The dual exhaust that sounds AWESOME! It's a deep, but not an obnoxious rumble.

As far as the body is concerned... It's straighter now than the day it was soldin 1970-71. Any experienced car guy will tell you that when these rolled down the assembly line there wasn't time for them to line up every panel perfect, so gaps were common. We took the time to correct thosegaps, andSteele Rubber Products helped by selling us the entire rubber and molding package for the 1970Torino(including the rear and frontwindow gaskets).

Do yourself a favor and call Steele Rubber Products.Ask them 1) why their product is better than others on the market, and 2) the costto order the entire 1970 Torino package. Add it up and you're looking ata pretty penny. The rear window gasket alone is $650.00. Oh, and once delivered... Now, you have to figure in the cost of labor.

I challenge ANYONE to find methree of these 1970 Torino's for sale that are not museum pieces or on display that have never - I STRESS NEVER had a spec of rust in over 45 years!!! It's turnkey and bad ASS, but expect to pay a fair number.

I apologize for some of the latter photos posted. The car had been in my warehouse, so it was quite dusty... I decided to post them because someone requested more photos. You're not going to find a single issue with this car, and if you do then you're probably THAT guy that's an eternal skeptic that said Montana couldn't play, Payton Manning's arm wasn't strong enough, RussellWilson is too small,or Big Ben didn't play against enough competition in college.
