1977 Ford Mustang Cobra II - Corinthian Bucket w Hurst Pro Shift Additional Info:

The Mustang II Cobra II was only offered for 3yrs - 1976 to 1978. The LAST 2 Pic's are what this car originally may have looked like back in 1977. Power Steering, Power Brakes, AC car (No AC Pump, or Condenser, but it has AC controls inside and the Large Hose from interior is still in the engine compartment), All Side Windows have Lifetime Ceramic Tint, Rear Spoiler, but Cobra II parts are available. The odometer shows 42,315 and it appears to not have rolled over. Email or call me about that and I can explain details and why the last 2 owners think the same thing. Title Clean, No Wrecks, Pink in Hand, Title in My Name, I put it on Calif PNO (Non-OP). Buyer responsible for all Sales Tax and registration fees. Car is being sold, "AS IS" and no warranty is implied or provided whatsoever. This vehicle can be inspected in Ventura, CA. and a DEPOSIT of $200 is required within 24hrs of winning the bid. All remaining funds are due within 72hrs of winning the bid and requires CASH or wire transfer to Chase or BofA Bank in Ventura, CA 93001. Any Wire Transfer funds need to clear with the bank before the vehicle can be removed from the premises. We can assist with your transportation agency to load vehicle onto transport carrier after funds clear the bank. Vehicle is located in a popular shipping route for Transportation Agencies that move throughout the Los Angeles basin and that transport vehicles all over the US.
This 1977 Mustang II Cobra II was built in 1976 in the San Jose plant and has lived in Cali her whole life (almost NO RUST). The car was semi-restored about 20yrs ago with a complete professional paint job and upgraded to a Hurst Promatic-2 Floor Shifter, Petronix HEI w Wells Ignition Module, and added the period correct AR (Center-line racing look) wheels (Polished Aluminum - No Rust). I had Lifetime Ceramic Tint Professionally installed on all Side Windows and car comes with the Summit Racing Fender Protectors and Ford Motorsport Cobra Letterman's Jacket - Large (Worn). Plus, I have some wiring diagrams, period repair manuals, and Cobra II Sales Literature. I upgraded to the Ford Licensed Cobra II Air Cleaner, Ford Licensed Cobra II Valve Covers, Red Taylor Distr Cap/Rotor, MSD Blaster 2 Coil, JEGS Red/Blk Plug Wires, Spark Plugs, Ford Licensed Cobra II Windshield Decal, Ford Licensed Cobra II Front Fender Decals, Cobra II front grill emblem (not installed), Cobra II Rear Spoiler Decal, and extra Cobra II Decal -RED for the engine bay (I was gonna do the inside Hood Black and place Red Decal so it's facing you just over Air Cleaner)?? Also, I have a Champion All Aluminum Radiator for this car still in the box and just needs to be installed and an Edelbrock Blk/Red Triangular Air Cleaner for that period correct look, still in the box, as well.
This was going to be my daughters Cobra II - V8 302/C4 Auto Trans (Not a Clone). This is an original Color Black Car with AC (Pump not there). My daughter has the Cobra II w Farrah Fawcett fridge magnet and White w blue stripes Cobra II matchbox (New and still in the box), so we were thinking of doing white w blue stripes, but she is leaving for college and I will not be able to have the car ready to drive out of state. I'm probably gonna need back surgery next year, but I have to lose 20-30lbs first, so I cannot physically keep working on this car; otherwise, I would continue working on these little nagging issues and have them corrected in short order..
The driver front fender was kicked at by an angry ex GF of previous owner and these can be easily (professionally) popped-out with the right tools. We can set-up a Face-time to view the car and I can show the car running. The Gas Tank is brand new and still in the box, but I setup a fuel line hose into a 5gal gas container. It won't take much to get that tank installed and back on the road. It fires right up and there is NO SMOKE at all.

PROS: I have wiring diagrams, repair manuals, 70's Cobra II sales literature, etc. Clean Title, Pink in Hand, Pink in My Name, No Calif Back Fees. This car does have a few scratches and dings and some paint bubbles, but literally has almost no rust and only one small hole under passenger rear quarter near bumper (cannot be seen unless under car) and couple very small holes underneath hood/Scoop area, and small topical rust here and there. See pics and I have many additional pictures underneath car too. Wheels are period correct racing look for the 70's and in good shape. This is a simplistic wiring integration and the wiring diagrams I am providing will guide you through any wiring that you are looking to upgrade, due to some lights appear to have stopped working correctly.
CONS: No smog equipment on it (except CAT), so best in YOUR state w NO smog test. Need gas tank installed and go through the brakes. It wont take much to get her back on the road. The Air cleaner right now is too tall and need to alter height for hood to close and not a big deal (I have just been removing air cleaner and keep it in the box). It has a couple small drips of coolant from top hose water neck when running for awhile. There is NO smog equipment (except for catalytic converter) or AC pump on this car. Tires are good rollers and last till you take car to the next level w decent tread but tires are older Goodyear EAGLE GT P195/60R/14 and some are showing cracks. The Wells Ignition Module connector on unit is fine, but the intermediary connectors have wiring that needs proper connectors and NOT a big deal due to the car is running correctly, have easy-to-use wiring diagrams of complete car, and placed black electrical tape on connections until you can inspect, document the existing working wiring, and add the necessary connectors for that, "clean and proper" effect.
