1949 Ford Other Pickups Additional Info:

1949 Ford F1 short bed, 1/2 ton pickup. It has a Chrysler 440 cu in big block with a 727 Chrysler Torqueflite transmission. Runs and drives, the previous owner used it as a daily driver until I purchased it three weeks ago. The bed is the original one to the truck, it was removed years ago and replaced with a wood flat bed the owner used to haul hay bales with. I replaced it with the orig bed. The truck was red from new. The previous owner is 71 and bought the pickup when he was 18. He was the second owner. He put a 383 Chrysler engine in it and years later installed the current 440 in it. All the glass is good except the driver quarter window which has a crack. Tires are decent. The hood is bent due to it flying up while he was driving down the highway. This truck has been used as a farm vehicle since new and never been sitting in a field for years. Brakes are good. Heater works. It has a good Kansas title.
