1918 Ford Model T Additional Info:

1918 Ford Model T . Condition is Used. TALK ABOUT A BARN FIND!!!!! Well, not exactl, I did find it in my barn. but that is where I put it. This is a rust free incredibly solid, almost all original Depot Hack . Modifications include; Electric start, 12v system, electric fuel pumpCoils are gon, ,,,VW distributor, 2 speed shift lever, very unique stop light and alternator. It has excellent metal, very good wood, redone interior and top and did I tell you about the stop light signal.....When I purchased it near Ashville,NC, I was told that in the late teens and early 20s it was owned by the Vanderbuilts and used to transport visitors and guests from the train station to the Biltmore Estate..I have been it contact with the Biltmore House to verify ownership. Their records do not go back 100 years and they could not positively identify this Model T. They did say that on line in the Biltmore photos from the late teens and early 20s there are numerous photos of Ford Depot Hacks.. Trivia, These were common at depots and were used to transport people(hacks) hence the name Depot Hack. The engine VIN indicates a 1914, an old SC title shows it as a1918 but shows an incorrect VIN. I now have a current Georgia registration showing it as a 1918 and also showing the current engine numbe, which is the VIN of a model T. Coils are gone, wood spokes are all very good, tires are 30x31/2. There are 6 clips that would an easy removal of the complete roof. Don't miss the opportunity to own a 102 year old piece of American history. It is an incredible advertising piece, great as a product display and an awesome conversation piece.TERMS; $500.00 deposit within 3 days of close, balance within the next 10 days, may be by check or wire. I will store the T for free for up to 30 days post auction. Please E or call with questions, Bill 478 808 6067. The T is in Bolingbroke Georgia which is very near Macon, zip 31220

Thanks for all the questions, ref the key with the green tag, it is connected to the starter, the ignition key is an original key used at the coil box, it activates the ignition and turns on the fuel pump. Thanks guys
