*Please read entire description and look at all pics, more available upon request, thank you!You are looking at a true SSP Mustang Lx notchback, specially ordered from factory by the Texas Highway Patrol. These cars are very special and very hard to find especially in this condition. I cannot say enough positive things about how solid this car is from top to bottom, zero rust or rot anywhere on this car, truly a freak.Runs, drives, stops and shifts 100%, I made sure of it. When I bought car I went over it entirely, all new proper speed rated tires, new shocks, new brakes, all new a/c lines/hoses/components, even replaced the condenser mounts due to wear. Ice cold a/c and hot heat also replaced the dreaded heater core.Serviced car from top to bottom with all o.e.m fluids, changed oil and filters, air and fuel included. Serviced the manual trans and rear diff as well with all the appropriate recommended fluids, new driveshaft and U-joints due to minor vibration I felt at high speeds, not anymore, good as new. New rubber shift boot under the leather bag around the shifter.As you can see in the pictures I have all the police parts original to the car, the police radio, mic and speaker, the lights that go on the rear deck of the car behind the glass as well as the lights for the front and the spotlight. Pretty cool stuff, police dome light, spotlight with brand new handle and gasket. The Special Service Package came standard with certain things like the high dollar blue silicone hoses that are all present and in perfect condition, speedometer that goes up to 160 mph, also came with things ordered to each specific department, for example this car was ordered with an internal roll bar that you can see in the pics. There is also a pic of the buck tags that are stamped with station info under the hood.I have so many great pics of this car but could only display 24 so if you need more e-mail or text me. Wanted this car to be able to be enjoyed by new owner so spent great deal of time and money making sure this was what I would end up with.Only negative things I can say about this car is that it could use paint, previous owner attempted to clear over the original white with some sort of pearl clear, looks good in some places but is peeling off the roof, could use some weather stripping in couple places as well. Car has no rust and no dings or dents, would not be an expensive paint job, I have quotes from some local shops in my area just have too many projects going on at once, the hard part is done, she is reliable and ready to roll. Very fast and fun car to drive.Don't miss your chance to own a true collectible classic that is going nowhere but up in value, if you have been in the market for a notch than you know what I am saying.Also in 89 cars did not have airbags yet so they still have tilt steering which is nice, another killer fact is that in 89 they were still using forged pistons, which means they are very strong and built to last. Drivetrain on this car is solid as can be and has many years left of fun driving ahead of her. Does not leak a drop of oil and does not burn any either. I have been driving this car back and forth to work 45 min each way for awhile now and it has been a joy. Hard to let it go but need money elsewhere.If you look at the one photos I included of parts you will see all the parts I have for the car, including all new badges and emblems because I had planned on painting it, have the full complete set of rubber body plugs so after paint they can all be fresh new black rubber plugs, have all kinds of new clips and various pieces and parts including some new interior parts like all new plastic covers that go over the driver and passenger side seat tracks, where they mount to the floor. Good amount of quality parts to go along with the car.
