This is a freshly restored 1967 Ford F100 Short Bed Custom Cab. The first thing you notice is the high gloss Arcadian Blue that clothes the exterior. Tucked away under the hood is a newly rebuilt 300ci in-line 6 controlled by a 3-speed manual column shift transmission.

A very thorough, complete frame-off restoration was performed on this truck, and it shows. As seen in the photos, no detail was considered insignificant.

So many features of this truck set it apart from the rest, including a brand new 300ci motor, fully custom removable wood bed, fully custom interior, custom towing package welded into the frame and 9 inch rear-end.

The motor is SOLID with a brand new 300ci short block (block, crank, pistons etc.), motor mounts, water pump, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, starter, alternator and brand new battery (2/20). The original FOMOCO carburetor was just rebuilt and the brake system was completely redone with all new shoes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, springs, rubber lines etc. The radiator and mounting assembly are also fully custom allowing the motor to run forever without any risk of overheating, even at idle.

The ENTIRE truck was stripped to bare metal before repainting. New floor pans, cab mounts, cab corners, and door jamb corners were all welded in and seam sealed. The frame, rear axle, steering, suspension, cab bottom, and bed bottom were all completely stripped, coated with POR15, and top coated with paint. It is immaculate.

The exterior was stripped to bare metal and primed with a non-porous epoxy primer before painting. The main color is a Ford original Arcadian blue with awesome off-white trim. The trim accents the original wagon-wheel rims with the red drums shining through, wrapped in BRAND NEW tires, giving the truck a timeless look that is sure to please. Additionally, all the optional original aluminum and chrome trim is on the truck.

The brand-new custom interior ties in wonderfully with the exterior trim and the beautiful ash wood bed. The custom kick panel covers, corner covers and headliner, along with a dash pad delete gives this truck a unique look that is sure to turn heads.

Prior to installing the interior, sound deadening material was installed throughout; inside the doors, on the roof, B-pillars, firewall, floor, back wall, and the back of the gas tank making the interior a solid, comfortable, quiet experience. All the electrics are functional except radio which is untested.

The wood bed is a special order Horkey’s Show Deck that is able to be easily removed in two pieces if you desire to haul cargo in the sporty short bed. The wood is a hard ash that has been weatherproofed with a high-quality marine varnish. The stainless-steel skid plates contrast with the wood to make the bed really pop. This stunning bed will set your truck apart from the rest. It truly looks better in person than the photos.

If you plan to use this truck for what it was designed for, the torquey 300 will pull anything you need with the fully custom, heavy duty towing package welded into the frame (seen in the last photo) and putting the power to the road with a beautiful, robust 9-inch rear end (with the original metal tag).

This truck is an amazing piece of history with a ton of custom elements that set it apart from the crowd, while keeping a wonderful classic look.

Please don’t hesitate to ask questions.

Included with the sale is 1 quart of the exact batch of Arcadian Blue paint with corresponding hardener, a brand new brake booster that can be installed to make power brakes, a waterproof truck cover, and an additional tire (no rim) that does hold air.

No truck is perfect but this one is close. The shifting cams can get stuck in 1st gear if shifted improperly, but it can be easily be remedied by pulling on the shifter, while driving, without leaving the seat. It is not a significant issue if you are comfortable with the column shift.

Because the clutch is brand new and has not been broken in, shifting can be rough, but this should smooth out with time. The tranny is somewhat noisy but this is pretty normal for these old Fords.

Cosmetic blemishes are very few but include a couple drips in the paint around the rear glass, minor touchups around the doors when they were put on after paint, and two very small spots where paint was smudged while drying around the drivers wheel well. All of these blemishes are very minute and hardly noticeable.

There is no warranty with this truck, implied or otherwise. It is being sold as is.
