1968 Ford Galaxie LTD Additional Info:

1968 Ford Galaxie LTD. 79k original miles. FE 390 and FMX transmission. True Iowa survivor car. 95% original besides some drive ability upgrades as in master cylinder, proportioning valve, edelbrock 650 carb, pertronix ignitor and flame thrower coil. Also retrofit Sanden compresses, vintage air bracket, and a new factory replacement drier. Blows ice cold air.
Suspension is 100 percent new. All bushings ball joints, springs, shocks, front and rear everything was rebuilt and replaced
Brakes all new hoses, pads, calipers, rotors, shoes and hardware were replaced. Drums were turned. Stops like a new car.
Engine has a double roller timing chain, water pump, thermostat, hoses, belts, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, timing cover, and oil filter adapter gasket.
Body has been buff and polished about 60 hours worth of time into it. Very clean car 98% rust free. Has some rock chips, dings, and few rust spots. Very amazing shape for being a car from Iowa for the last 50 years.
Interior is mint. Installed a set of gauges and a tachometer. Other then that stock down to the am radio.
Was a one owner car when I got it from the original owner’s grandson. Was a direct special order out of Des Moines, Iowa Has a painted roof and a Galaxie grill instead of the hide away head lights. Was ordered that was. Wheels were also installed by the original owner.
This car could literally be driven any where. 100% Reliable.
