For sale is a piece of American Pony Car History. This was Fords first offering of a high performance pony car. Powering this car is the legendary 289 high performance V8 with 271 horsepower and a top loader four speed transmission. This car has been well maintained and is perfect for Sunday drives or attending car shows. The Poppy Red is a real head turner and looks great!! Overall the paint is in goodconditioning and was repainted in the late 90s. However this car is driven so it does have some minor scratches and two small dings from over the years. Close up pictures of the dents are pictured in the auction. The black interior is in excellent shape on this vehicle as well. Also the seats are in near perfectcondition. Factory optioned on this Mustang is the Rally Pacgauge cluster. The Rally pac is currently not working but it is intact and will probably need gone through. Car has been well maintained over the years and fires right up when started. This Mustang is a real pleasure to drive. The following upgrades have beenperformedon the Mustang for betterdrivability, a newer Holleycarburetorand also a new distributor .Includedwith the car willbe the originalcarburetorand distributor as well.
