I am selling my 1968 Ford Mustang, It is a California Car, built in the old San Jose factory, now a strip mall. The engine is a 289 Windsor engine. For the most part the car is original. With the original Black and yellow California Plates.

The car has been painted red with silver and black stripes, the original color was, (12745) Tahoe Turquoise Poly, it was painted by the original owner, did a pretty good job, including door jams; I understand that I am the 3 owner. The car has a straight body but is missing some chrome pieces but can be quickly found online and installed. I installed a right had side, original style mirror, as the car originally didn't come with one. The tail lights are out and may only need the bulbs to be replaced.

The engine and transmission are original and run strong. I have serviced the engine and transmission recently and will provide service record upon request. I replaced the brake booster unit with an after market 8" Wilwood Brake Booster Unit, this improved braking very much as I lived in San Francisco and needed good brakes for the hills. I also replaced the original power steering with a Borgeson Power Steering Pump Saginaw Kit, which made the steering much smoother than the original. The radiator is missing a fan shroud. Possible coolant leak, I'm almost sure its a loose hose but haven't had time to fix it. The battery or alternator may need to be replaced as the only way I have been turning on the car is to jump it. Once the car is running, there is no noticeable problems and the car purrs very smoothly. I believe the shocks were recently replaced by the person I bought the car from. I recently drove it from San Francisco to Vallejo, an almost 50 mile trek with no problems.

The has only one small rust spot, quarter-size spot underneath the battery tray in the engine compartment. The car has been garaged since I've owned it and I drive it once or twice a month. It is a great car but since moving, i haven't had the opportunity to enjoy it like I was thinking. The car drives and runs great, solid body and clean undercarriage.
