Up for auction is this very rare highly optioned M code 1970 T5 Mach 1. This is the only !970 Mach 1 T 5 that I have ever seen. According to the Marti report there were only 86 Mach 1's in 1970 with the T5 export package. Rather than buying the Mustang name from the Krupp truck co. Ford used the T5 name to export the cars to Germany. Mostly for service men that were stationed there. Original T 5 Ford badging is still on front fenders. The mustang logo was not used on these cars. Drive train is complete. Engine is a 351 4v fmx trans 9 inch rear. don't know if they are original but are era correct. Motor turns free and oil looks okay. Needs a complete restoration. Original paint and body panels except hood, front and rear valances. Front, rear frame rails, rockers and shock towers are straight and solid. Needs floor pans, rear part of trunk floor, lower part of torque boxes, drop offs and lower rear quarter patch panels. Has all glass, interior is mostly complete. Original carpet and headliner. Clear S.C. title and Marti report. In the listing there is a picture of the Marti.
