1974 Ford Galaxie ltd 2 door Additional Info:

1974 Ford LTD 2 door. Condition is Used.
I saved this car from being destroyed. It belonged to a single family and the lady I bought it from was 83. It sat for 7 years in her carport before I bought it and got it running and driving. It will need more TLC though-it is not perfect but overall in pretty good shape. I can get some pics of the trunk and engine bay for you.
It has some rust on the lower quarter panel on the left side and some kind of puncture hole on the passanger door-looks like a bullet hole but I do not know. Lol. Not sure if they robbed a bank in the 70's or what.
The engine runs and it drives decent but the oil light flickers. I am told this is a common thing with the 400 2 barrel Ford engine. The motor sounds fine though and I had it going 70 with no issues.
The car has new exhaust, new tires and all options are working including the AC.
The car has a push button start on it. The lady had it installed because her wrists were weak to fully turn the key. So you turn the key to on-push the button and it will fire up.
It has AC,8 track(which works),rear defroster and power trunk.
If you have any questions-let me know.
I would NOT recommend driving it long distances until you go through it.
I have more money into this car then I have it listed for-but I am listing it cheap in hopes someone out there will want to save and bring her back to her original glory. Thank you.
Now that you've gotten down to the bottom here. You can find me on Facebook at Jason Bagge and feel free to go into my videos on my page and check them out. I have tons of videos of this car being resurrected and finally a test drive once the new tires went on with Issac Hayes-"Shaft" playing on the 8 track. It ends with a full walk around with the engine and trunk and shows every flaw on this car.
I am pretty well known in the Brougham community and have been saving cars for a long time to bring them back out in the open. You can read an article on me called "The Car Whisperer" on bestride, com or Google my name with Brougham in the title and see many cars I've had written up on The Riverside Green and Hagerty. I want to be up front as I can. Thanks.
