Vintage 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 (Custom)

1967 Ford Galaxie Additional Info:

This is A 1967 Ford Custom 500. In 67 ford was getting weird with pulling away from the Galaxie badging, and going into the LTD. This is unique as it is neither. It is a Custom 500 and titled as such. Pros of car ar, it is not without rust but is not rusted out. In my opinion (which doesn't mean crap) it could be restored. It does run and drive and stop. I have replaced the plugs, fuel pump, battery, and put a fresh tank of ethanol free fuel in her. I replaced the carb with a used one, that is sucking in air at the throttle linkage shaft. It made it run but a carb is needed. It starts up, and will sit and idle like a sewing machine. I think but don't know if the water pump bearing is going out. it is making a noise at higher idle. I also changed the oil in her. It shifts well, and is a manual transmission. Three on the tree still! The brakes stop the car but it feels like only the back are working. The trunk has brand new brakes and hardware for the front wheels in the boxes still. Floor looks solid or I would not have picked her up. I am not selling this as running or shifting or stopping or any of that. It is a project and if you expect more than it is, I am not responsible for that. I am selling "as is", no returns. It is 50 years old. If you love it buy it. If you have doubts please do not buy it. Car guys get it. lol. The car is from Montana, and has the dealership badge on the trunk still. It apparently traveled to Mexico many times in its life. Lets give this car a good home and keep the transaction positive.The powers that be do not let private info to be sent in the description.
