1970 Ford Maverick 2 door Additional Info:
1970 Ford Maverick with 5 speed manual trans 8.8 rear 3:73 gears......My daily driver for the past 18 years, runs great but is starting to need regular mait.Needs brake shoes front & rear, will need a new windshield & gasket seal......(windshield has started to crack)...
Needs front suspension work, tie rod ends, idler arm & needs new strut bushingsNeeds front tires & alignment done also, Do that work and it's a daily driver for another 10-15 years....
If you want to show it, its going to need fresh paint & (light body work) LF fender has deer damage. hood needs work ( I'd just get another off ebay) new rear half quarters from Auto Krafters installed in 2010,painted in 2012 Quarters are (ledged in at top seam) the work that was done on the car has held up perfect...... lower front wheel wells will need attention for rust issues.... front & rear bumpers need to be re-chromed but they still look straight
Car comes with a good LF fender, New inner & outer tie rod ends, sleeves & Idler arm & small brake parts kit.....Solid running (stock) 1987 5.0 roller, never turned, never punched over ...made the motor swap from 6 cyl to 8 cyl in 2001...(has small oil leak, will need oil pan gasket) Transmission is a T-5 bought new from SummitRacing in 2011 .... rear end is from a 1993 Mustang 8.8 locker with 3:73 gearing......
Could be a great project (show car) with some light work & fresh paint ....Too many other details to list...., Message me for any questions ...... interior pic will be added..., front & rear bench seats have been reupholstered in black vinyl 2010 ...(puh-leather)... headliner has 2 small tears,... dash pad has cracks ... needs recovered or capped .... Carpet was bought new & installed in 2012... transmission tunnel has been cut & raised so the carpet isn't a perfect fit ... (still looks good though)... car has a flat touch screen with backup camera option entertainment radio system... Looks cool as all get out....
Car runs GREAT & the drive train is SOUND and is a complete blast to drive!!!! ......GL bidding...
