351 Cleveland hooked to the factory FMX, after slight mods on the engine it has dyno tested at 330 Hp @ 385 ft lbs of torque.. Not a tire roaster but runs strong and has great drivability. entire body work took a little over 6 months non stop to complete. 5 coats of base color with 7 coats of clear to get the mirror finish you see in the pics. All the striping including the 351 numbers are all painted. no decals or stickers.

Suspension:New, Upper and lower Control Arms with Ball Joints, Idler Arm, Inner and Outer Tie rod Ends and Adjusting sleeves, Strut Rod Bushings, Sway bar Bushings and Stabilizer Links ( Front and Rear), Rear lift springs( standard height) and KYB gas shocks all the way around.

( this is the larger 2 inch brake set up for the rear.Engine: 351 Cleveland bored 30 over wioth a stage 1 Crane cam, All new pistons, rings and bearings and a slight grind on the crank just to clean it up! The Original block was to far gone so we picked up 71 block only for a donor, all the heads are the original heads. So yes and no its pretty much numbers matching, just giving full disclosure. Uptop we went with an Edlebrock Performer series with a Holly Demon Carb ( 625CFM )
Transmission and Rear End: Fresh FMX completely restored with a slight shift kit and a 1800 stall Converter, 9" Ford we kept stock and just went through and adjusted and all new seals and bearings. 3.00 Ratio
Exhaust: Custom built headers from Ford Powertrain Applications out of Puyallu, Wa., they are the best in the business for headers that will fit properly with no issues down the road, My 5th time I;ve used them for my cars, these filter down to a 2.5 stainless steel system with flowmaster going to the rear then out the Scott Drake Mach 1 Tips under the rear valance, It's almost 200 grand in exhaust alone! the tone is perfect!
Tires: Classic BF GoodRichP245/60R15 Rears and P225/60/15 Fronts mounted on 15x7 Front Rims and 15x8 on the rear
Interior: Complete makeover from top to bottom, 1 piece TMI suede headliner and Sail Panels, new carpet and upholstery, all new switches and bezel along with the dash circuit board. Everything down to the clock works,
Body: This really speaks for itself, the only metal left from 1970 is the roof and the hood as well as the spoiler and louvers. Everything else has be replaced and repaired better than factory specifications. I do all the work right here in my home garage so nothing is overlooked or missed, all panels were painted apart then put back together for final paint so there are no cut marks from tape offs. All the rust has been removed from every spot there was any and was replace and plug welded back in just as the factory did it in 1970. NO SHORTCUTS... Take close look at the pics to see the gap tolerances, lots of hours just to make them right.Over 1800 hours in body prep and paint alone, the color is Tin Roof Metallic with NightShade Gray Stipes, then the spoiler and louvers are Satin Black. Sorry Ford folks they are GM colors. They look much better on this car!
Summary:This car is a show car if you choose it to be, personally I build them to enjoy and drive, this is built just for that, I don't like the term tailer queen! I just did a 200 mile road trip in her and she performed flawlessly and cruises at 75 or 80 MPH without any problems. Its a head turner, fun to drive, its a automatic so it helps if you needs the wife blessing to buy it she can drive it every once an awhile! The car comes with a 4 inch folder of receipts so you know what to do in the future for any parts purchases. The price on this is very fair for this high quality restoration. If you not mechanically inclined you could never get one done at a shop for what this is selling for.
I built this one because I had one when I was 16 maybe your the same and don't have the ability to build one but do have the ability to buy 1. Heres you Holiday gift to yourself!
