1989 Ford Bronco Additional Info:
Good Ole Bronco! We bought this 1989 Full size 4X4 off of eBay around 10 years ago we think. It has been an awesome rig. It sits most of the time now. We only drive it to check the property and it recently stopped charging the battery. Replaced the alternator, still no charge. It's just time for someone else to fix it up and get used regular again. It has near new 33x12x15 BFG Mud Terrain's. Newer Gabriel max control shocks. Never changed the steering stabilizer. Lots have been done over the years. Replaced the gas tank years ago. Water pump a few years ago. Just maintenance stuff. Yet the head liner is starting to hang. New glue would be an easy fix. There is a tacking coming from the engine. But runs just fine. Always starts with a charged battery. We had the transmission and 4x4 transfer case rebuilt by a professional at some point years ago. The engine had been freshly rebuilt by the prior owner before we bought it. Specs may be on his 4x4 bronco site still. Not sure. The speedometer doesn't work. Needs new cable. 4/10 gears in the rear.Windows all go up and down. Seats are both electric. The removable top is Line-X. Has held up really well and still looks good. Has a 3 inch body lift.Have always changed the oil regular and put in mid grade or premium gas.
Downfall was when the front end got hit and the insurance totaled it. We kept and rebuilt it. Thus the black front end. Had a brush guard on it at that time which saved it from more damage. After rebuilding it, we had it inspected to get retitled. Someone at another time hit the gas instead of his brakes, when we were sitting at a stop light with kids on board. Messed the rear bumper up. Everyone was safe and we replaced the rear bumper. So this rig has a history, yes. But it's been a good history. It is a rock! Kept us safe and keeps on going. Prior owner called it "The Stone Bronco" Thus the paint job. We do have the spare tire rack that mounts to the rear and Extra muffler and pipe we were going to put on it we got from u pull it. Never got to it or ever will. Does have good Oregon registration/ tagsWhenever it didn't pass emissions, it was usually the oxygen sensors. Cheap and easy parts to change when needed. Unscrew and unplug, replace,, easy.It needs a new home and we can always use the money and space.Low reserve that you may be surprised of. We feel you will love this rig as much as we have..Please ask us questions and we will answer the best we can.
**Also please note: the fire extinguisher, umbrella, little bit of garbage and personal things laying around in the bronco are NOT included in the sale.** You can have the floor mats though.. :)Please only bid if you have the funds to cover it, it only makes sense..Thank you and Happy Bidding..
