Up for a low reserve auction is a survivor quality rot free 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door hardtop! It has the z code vin P code 390 340 horse 425 ft lbs of torque with Sanderson headers, Holley street avenger 650 4 bbl carb, high performance mechanical fuel pump, electronic ignition conversion, custom dual exhaust with vintage blue streak glasspacks, recently rebuilt cruise o magic transmission, 3.91 gears and a Detroit locker in a Ford 9 inch rear! It has the deep steel 14 inch wheels and correct hubcaps,New brakes,wheel cylinders hardware drums and shoes all the way around plus new master cylinder! Air shocks, hidden audio system, New carpet kit, fresh seatcovers, Good heat and all the lights are functional....She is a daily driver folks!! With that being said, yes you can fly in and drive her home! There is no rot and only minor surface rust here and there and the paint will buff out but has a nice patina as she sits. The frame and floors are perfect and she has a few blemishes here and there which can be seen in the pictures. This has always been an Oregon car and has only had 4 owners according to the DMV.
