1930 Ford Model A Additional Info:

Bought in February 1965 from its original owner who had it stored in a garage. It was painted and fixed up a little and then driven to high school for about a year. After that it was put into storage for another 52 years, and then brought out of storage, started up, driven up and down the driveway and then brought into the garage for the winter. Last photo shows how it looked when it was brought out of the barn after 52 years there. The title has an "A" prefix which in New Jersey should mean that it only had one previous owner, which is not too common. But I don't know what the story is about the engine number not matching the VID number on the title. Engine number is AA3154496, which corresponds to production in April 1930. The VID number on the title is A4356770, which corresponds to production in February 1931. The body hasn't been off so I don't know what the frame number is, but I'm guessing that it matches the engine number and that the engine in the car is the original one. The car is an all-around excellent candidate for a beautiful ground-up restoration. There is some rust-out in places along the lower edges of the cowl and body, but it's hard to see because of the paint. Not bad though. The car runs and drives nice, and I believe that if the engine oil and gear oil were changed and a new muffler and new were tires added, that it would drive all the way to California without a problem. Please look at the photos carefully and if you have any questions I'll answer them the best I can.
