Up for auction by Rose Lane Restorations is a beautiful late 1977 Ford F-250 Ranger 4x4 pickup featuring a beautiful new professional cosmetic interior and exterior restoration. She's a fully-loaded beauty equipped from the factory with Power Steering, Power Brakes, and the high-line Ranger trim package. This is a straight truck with a fresh two-stage paint job in factory-original T-code Candy Apple Red finish. It is in exceptionally well-maintained, turn-key daily-driver mechanical condition. The new interior features brand-new high-line Ranger deluxe seat upholstery, matching upholstered headliner, restored door panels with matching inserts, new carpet, and more. Truly a gorgeous truck... get in, turn the key, and go. Details as follows:

The truck was then disassembled for restoration including the removal of all the exterior aluminum and stainless trim, the grill surround and grills, all lights, reflectors, and marker assemblies, and glass including the front windshield and back glass.Of course all the weatherstrip was removed as well. The bumpers, bumper brackets, and wheels were removed, along with the entire interior. Minor chips and dings were repaired, and the truck treated to a professional 2-stage urethane paint job.

The front chrome Sport Bumper is original and cleaned up nicely, the rear chrome step bumper and brackets are new, and the side mirrors, door handles, door locks, antenna, bolts, etc. refreshed or replaced as needed. The aluminum grill surround, and the optional fancy Ranger side- and tailgate trim was cleaned, polished, painted, and clear-coated.The grills were restored, the headlamps replaced, the tail light lenses and bulbs replaced, the side marker assemblies and bulbs replaced, and the front marker lights and bulbs replaced. The emblems were removed and restored, as were the wiper arms.

The front windshield and gasket is new, the back sliding glass window and gasket new, and the door and wing windows are originals in good condition. New door window felts and wipers have been installed along with new door weather stripping to finish out the soft seal parts.

The bed is completely rust-free, and has been treated to a new Raptor high-end spray in bed liner. The tailgate is likewise in beautiful condition as well. The underside of the truck is clean and sound with only minor surface rust. The wheel well openings have been detailed, and have brand-new wheel lip stainless steel trim. The floors, rockers, frame, cab mounts, corners, etc. are all exceptional and rock-solid.

Panel and door fitment are very nice; we perform all the alignment before the paint work is done. The side glass windows roll up and down smoothly.

The interior has just been restored, and is gorgeous as you an see. Details include a dyed original dash pad, a new molded carpet kit, new high line black Ranger seat upholstery, dyed sun visors, restored rear view mirror, new matching headliner, restored black door panels with new fancy upholstered matching inserts, and restored armrests. The transfer case and shifter arms have been repainted, knobs detailed, pedals painted, new door sill plates, and more. The gauge lens was removed and polished, and the gauges cleaned. The gauges, turn signals, brake lights, headlights, heater, wiper, etc. are all in proper working condition. The original Ranger steering wheel is still in decent condition as well.

The engine is the original 351 V8 in excellent turnkey running condition with just over 101k original miles. It has been recently freshened up with performance parts including an Edelbrock aluminum 4v intake, new Edelbrock 4v carburetor, new timing chain, HV oil pump, and a new performance dual exhaust system including headers and Flow Master mufflers. The engine sounds very healthy and is very responsive, with fresh tune-up parts, fluids, and filters.

The factory manual transmission has been serviced, has a solid clutch, and shifts as it should.

The front and rear axles are the original Dana /Spicer Limited Slip units with 4.10 gears; Dana 60 in the rear and Dana 44 in front. The truck is equipped with true power steering, and power brakes, both of which are in good order.

The truck drives nicely, tracks straight down the road, and steers well. It stops well and straight; the truck is a lot of fun to drive. She turns heads wherever she goes.

The wheels are new Ultra polished aluminum wearing almost brand-new Toyo Open Country 285/85/16 (35”) radial M/S tires.

While not a nut-and-bolt "Concourse" full restoration, this truck is a no-excuses beauty that is going to make someone very happy!

Payment, Title, Shipping:

Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for export, inspection, etc.

While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 42-year-old classic truck, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. While the truck may appear as-new, it is a cosmetically-restored used vehicle, and not perfect; you should expect minor flaws as appropriate of a truck of this age.

Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction's end via cash, deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer.

Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone.

Feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. I may be willing to end the auction early for the right offer.
