1962 Ford Thunderbird 87 Additional Info:

For your Viewing and Bidding Pleasure we have a beautiful 1962 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. For the 1962 model year Ford produced 78,011 Ford thunder birds but only 8,457 of them were convertibles. This one was not a factory roadster but does have a period correct roadster tonneau that comes along with it painted to match. This is a great project car. Inside the trunk is what looks to be a new soft top for it along with a bunch of other parts. There is no carpet in the floor. It looks as if the car was undergoing a restoration and the owner put it in a back burner and left it incomplete. This car was part of a private collection and has set in a warehouse for many years.I do not know any of the history behind the car other than it looks like a project that was never finished. The Owner of the car recently passed away and his wife has entrusted my boss to sell off all of his projects. This car is being sold AS IS. There is a little bit of rust popping on the cowl and the bottom of the drivers door area, but the rest of the car looks good. I do not know if the deck lid goes up or down from the position it is in, as all we did wass roll it out onto a lift and outside to take pictures and than roll it back inside. It is being sold as a non-running project car.
I tried to take as accurate pictures of the condition as possible but feel free to ask for more details.
