1968 Ford Mustang S Code GT 4 Spd. Additional Info:

1968 Mustang GT S-Code, 4 barrel, 4 speed manual transmission, Coupe. It come's with a Deluxe Marti Report, it's original color is Acapulco Blue and a Blue interior. The car had a repaint done on it, in the same original Acapulco Blue but is in need of a paint job now. This is a California car and it always has been, so it does not have any rust "Cancer" any where on the body except for 2 very tiny bubbles on the bottom of the corner of the driver side door. Every thing else on the body is solid and straight, except for surface rust and sun baked. The doors open and close properly, all the windows roll up and down, front windshield and back window have new rubber seals. The engine hood has the original turn signals and obviously has the original fog lights, it also comes with the original GT rims/wheels that have been restored and repainted, brand new Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, brand new beauty rings and GT caps. Also new are the control arms, springs, rotors, calipers and steering linkage. It has it's original 9 inch rear end with drum brakes in the back that need attention, original GT gas cap, gas tank and original spare tire, that I thought was cool and worth saving. Needless to say there is no rust in the trunk. The trunk lid/door has the original stickers. The engine bay was worked on a little, it is solid and the only thing that was replaced was the battery tray. It still has the original bumpers that should be replaced or refurbished. It has the original Big Block that has been gone through and with no cost was spared, mostly original except for the aluminum intake, cam shaft, electrical ignition and coil, it also comes with a new Edlebrock 4 barrel carburetor and Edlebrock filter and cap, 4 speed manual transmission that has also been gone through and again, no cost spared. Please note that the engine and transmission have NOT been installed in the car, most of the engine compartment has been gone through.
The interior has "mostly" every thing new like or in good conditions, the door panels, dash board, headliner, carpet and seat covers, but it is still missing or need to be replaced, seat belts, radio, door handles and window cranks. Please note the head liner was not professionally installed, it looks okay but needs some attention, overall the car is a very good project, with lots of work invested in it all ready "but it is still a project"
Please remember this is a GT, S-Code, 4 barrel, 4 speed manual transmission, 9 inch rear end, and disc brakes in the front, a very very rare Mustang that you can make it your own, either keeping the same original Acapulco Blue color from the factory or go your own way on the color. The car was made in the San Jose Ca. plant, sold in Los Angeles Ca. and was bought by a Navel Officer stationed in China Lake,California who was basically the only owner until a few years ago back, a man I know started the restoration process and decided to go another way and that is how I came across the car. It still has it original black and yellow license plates, retouched and current on tags and registration. For prospective buyers I encourage visits and to come and inspect the car for yourselves or send someone in representation to do so for you. Meaning out of State or out of the Country buyers. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge. I am NOT a professional restorer of this rare and beautiful car. This 1968 GT Ford Mustang is being sold "AS IS" and "WHERE IT IS" with no warrantees of any kind. Please ONLY bid if you have the funds to purchase in full auction end price. After the end of Auction there is a $1000 immediate deposit required payment through PayPal and 3 to 7 days to make the final payment and to arrange pick up with me of this beautiful rare Mustang, I will assist with the loading as much as I can, but it is the buyer's responsibility to pay, arrange shipping and transporting.
