Most Ford & Mustang guys agree that 1969 was the best year for the classic pony car. That being said the general consensus is variety makes the brand more interesting. As awesome as the Mach 1 & Convertible cars are they can easily become bland in today's market place. Sit back and enjoy the pictures & video of a Mustang that draws more attention each & every time it leaves the garage!

If a deal can be struck the auction will cease! "DON'T MISS OUT”!

Many things can be said about the pony car that you see pictured here. It is the product of a Mid West collector who invoked upon a no holds barred meticulous restoration a short time ago.

I was fortunate enough to stumble across the car by word of mouth. The individual who informed me about it said the owner was thinking about putting the vehicle up for sale.

At any rate I reached out to him and we set a date that would be feasible to check it out.

When the appointed time came I was more than impressed by what I found.

First off it must be stated that it has been cherished since being scooped it up from Mahwah Ford in Clifton New Jersey. The car itself was actually assembled in Metuchen, NJ!

I honestly have always had a soft spot for unique Fords. However this low mileage vehicle made me appreciate them a little more.

The cars structural integrity is really noteworthy. The body contour & tooling is in step with factory manufacturer specifications.

There was some minor work done before it was painted in 2011. However the lion's share was performed by a high profile shop by direction of the second owner.

There is little doubt that the body was stripped and media blasted before being covered in enamel!

Many attributes make it a fan favorite. The eye catching beautiful Gulf Stream Aqua blue exterior commands attention & garners praise every time the car cover is lifted! Being a harsh critic makes it difficult for me to label many vintage finishes perfect but, I have no problem saying you won't have a claiming ownership of this one at the local car show. You may find a couple of minor chips / scratches but nothing to be concerned about.

Although Ford released many beautiful colors for the model year (F-Code) Gulf Stream has been voted best by the MCA (Mustang Club of America) more than any other for the 69 model year! The fit and finish is very respectable as well so it's easy admire the cars overall appearance.

It has been christened with a Mach 1 style hood kit that really wakes up the exterior.

All moldings & chrome appointments are smooth and honorable. This pony also sports a menacing black out tail panel that provides excellent contrast! A bold front chin spoiler leads the way up front complimented by onyx color coded dual sport mirrors.

GT style stripes enhance the body further by aid of reflective decals. Signature iconic script can also be located along the fender center line.

A perfect factory equipped black vinyl top covers the entire roof and makes this pony a fan favorite "constant compliments”!

Whenever the sun is out the exterior glistens and camera phones can't stop flashing!

The contrast of colors is amazing on this pony!

The front & rear bumpers have been replaced with N.O.S chrome components.

A RACE READY hood scoop has been wonderfully situated on the factory lid & a near perfect running grille stallion finishes things off!

The total picture is quite striking and can't help but make you the envy of all!

She is really buttoned up nicely "commendable quality investment”!

"I LOVE IT & SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE”!

Upon opening the door of this Custom pony you will find a sweet raven black interior! This Mustang has been treated to a commendable restoration inside as well.

Almost every stitch of the upholstery has either been replaced or refurbished. The standard front buckets & rear bench are in pristine shape!

The head rest were even considered worthy of receiving new cushioning.

Updated loop pile carpet is sealed to the chassis.

Each door panel is in great shape and happens to be original to the car. The courtesy lights still illuminate when either one is open!

Placed right in center is a super nice traditional steering wheel & admirable cockpit area.

Taking a peek above you'll find a near perfect headliner with function dome light!

NO MUSTANG CAN BE TRULY CONSIDERED A FREE RUNNING STALLION WITHOUT HAVING A FACTORY V/8!

Thankfully Ford didn't buck the trend when this one was assembled. The factory F-Code 302 can still be found underneath the hood.

The block itself was totally rebuilt approximately four years ago and is set to perform on command!

Horsepower ratings from the factory for these engines are somewhat pedestrian however several new internal components make it much more exciting to drive!

An original cast iron intake still sits atop the block and factory valve covers shields what's underneath.

Gibtec pistons were installed when the motor was overhauled (compression ratio has been deemed 10:1)!

Hardened valves seats have been installed so the vehicle can burn modern unleaded fuel "an important aspect that many fail to do”! No short cuts were taken.

Preventative maintenance has been addressed religiously recent parts include: plugs, 7MM wires, battery, alternator, thermostat, water pump, fuel pump, voltage regulator, etc.

A chrome air cleaner is in place to grace the engine bay along with a brake cover adorned likewise.

This vintage Ford is a blast to drive & a total thrill to cruise LETS,

Tucked underneath each corner is a eye catching triple chrome 18 inch mag wheel! All are in excellent condition without a single scratch "absolutely no curb rash”!

Spank brand new Z rated performance tires hug the metal!

The total set up produces a picture of performance and customization that works well on this particular model! HEAD TURNER!

All of the small details make this pony special!

Inner quarters, trunk lid & under hood are all sharp as well (nothing to hide)!

The time, resources and labor hours spent to formulate what has been produced can't be properly measured "rare opportunity”!

Here's yet more good news "she's just as nice underneath”! Expect to find rock solid, trunk, frame, COLOR CODED floor boards (NO RUST OR ROT WORRIES)!!!!!

Here's a few more close ups underneath.
