Hello. This listing is for a 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible. This is a relisting due to a bidder disappearing after he hit buy it now. So I ask please DO NOT BID if you are not serious or do not have the funds for this car. Okay. So back to the description. This car was restored in the mid to late 2000's. It has been driven approximately 4,000 miles since that time. The restoration included a rebuilt 302 engine with new 4 barrel carb(non original). Also the connecting C-4 transmission was rebuilt. Fortunately for you, if you do not like the automatic and would like to shift through the gears I am INCLUDING in this listing, a 5 Speed T-5 Tremec Conversion kit I purchased from CJ pony parts(see picture), purchasing a tremec separately which unfortunately I have not had the time to install. EVERYTHING is included to convert this car EXCEPT a clutch pedal and a different starter(mini starter required).
The restoration also included the installation of an New Aftermarket Air Conditioning unit working perfectly, blowing cold air on those hot summer nights. On the exterior, a Brand New convertible top with a New glass rear window and motor(which is a little weak now), were installed. A New convertible top boot for that clean look when the top is down is included as well. The paint shines bright and most of the chrome has been powder coated black. A New floor was added from trunk floor to firewall along with New quarter panels. Some flaws in the paint. Not a show quality paint job. A New windshield has been installed as well. Finally, New LED Sequential(have wiring kit for sequential) tail lights, a New front and New rear spoiler, New 17 inch Bullit Rims and Brand New tires are included.
On the underside along with the New floor, New Twin/Dual Exhaust, New Shocks and Leaf Springs, and a New Gas Tank were installed. The power disc brakes were totally redone using New Rotors, Pads, Hardware, and a New Master Cylinder. The Rear Brakes are drum and have new cylinders and hardware. This Mustang has Power Steering, which has also been rebuilt. A New Monte Carlo bar, Mustang Oval Air Cleaner and New Valve covers round out the engine bay.
Next, the interior boasts a New dash with clock, New Deluxe Door panels, New Carpet, New Steering Wheel, and a Kenwood Stereo(no speakers). The front and rear seats have also been recovered with brand new upholstery. A removable, aftermarket Roll Bar gives it a modern look. A car cover is also included in the same.
This Awesome Mustang was just driven 110 miles from winter storage in Ohio to my home in Michigan with absolutely no problems @ highway/turnpike speeds. This car runs, drives, sounds, and looks excellent. There are a few flaws in the paint. I do not drive this car enough to enjoy it to the full potential which is the reason I'm selling. Please study the pictures carefully and PLEASE don't hesitate to ask me any questions or have any concerns if you feel I missed something in this description. I can arrange inspections of the car prior to this auction ending. Shipping is NOT included in the price. I will SAFELY load the Mustang with the Transmission kit for transport. Car for sale locally.
