I have for sale a 1963 Fairlane 500 Sports coupe all stock all original has not been repainted factory red on red car.It was own by the same family all of its lif, was well cared for and taken care of all of its life.It is a solid car,there is no rust in the floor boards,trunk,wheel wells,shock tower, hood lip moulding or quarter panels.This is a very solid car that runs and drives turn key operational.This is a matching numbers car as evident with the data plate and stamped firewall in these pics.
The headliner is not ripped up still in good shape, the seat covers are not torn up, nor is the carpet torn up.All the emblems are there nothing is missing or broken or bent up.
The bumpers are still shinny not all rusty and dented, the side moldings are in great shape nothing missing.The interior smells fresh,there were no kids or pets riding in this car, no smokers so everything is clean!
The 260 engine is original very strong doesn't smoke or burn oil, the two speed tranny doesn't slip or has any shifting issues.Everything is bone stock nothing has been changed or altered in any way.If your looking for an original 1963 Fairlane sports coupe with an easy restoration then this is it an unmolested purist car!.
Car runs and drives with 76k original miles so you can drive it anywhere home that's how nice this car is.This car turns heads where ever it goes, the paint was quickly just buffed out for the listing, but if you buff it better you will have a car you don't need to paintThe patina speaks for itself, only dent is a parking lot dent on the passenger fender other than that the body is perfect .

History of the 1962-1965 Ford FairlaneFord transferred the Fairlane nameplate to its new "senior compact” line for 1962. The downsized Fairlane was 11.7" shorter than regular Fords, but 16.5" longer than the Falcon. A Ford six or new 221-cid OHV V8 powered the new cars. The mid-year Fairlane 500 (pillared) Sport Coupe came with buckets and console. A 260-cid V8 and four-speed manual transmission were optional. For 1963, the nicely restyled Fairlane Sport Coupe became a true hardtop. New Fairlane wagons included a faux-wood paneled Squire. Late in 1963, Ford introduced its hot 271-hp 289 V8 in Fairlane. Substantially upgraded styling kept 1964 Fairlanes competitive with Chevy's new Chevelle—and a Ford 427-cid V8 made that year's limited run of Fairlane-based Thunderbolt drag cars more than competitive.A new Fairlane look appeared for 1965, as the car shared heavily sculpted sheetmetal with that year's Mercury Comet. Rectangular tail lamps replaced formerly round units. The pleasingly styled 1962-65 Fairlane 500s are scarce, but generally quite affordable today—Thunderbolts excluded! An authentic Hi-Po V8/4-speed Fairlane can be a super Ford bargain.
