DESCRIPTION:

Steel 1948 Ford coupe street rod, all Ford powered. Current owner purchased the Coupe 7 years ago from the original builder who completed the build over 15 years ago. Since completion only 9400 miles have been logged on the odometer. Paint is a 2-stage urethane Ford Blue. Bodywork appears to be in good condition including shaved doors, nosed, and decked; Some small chips no cracks, only visible ‘bubbling’ on the lower edge of the trunk (see photo). Crank windows and all glass is in good condition.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:

1990’s vintage stock 302 c.i. Ford V-8 with 2 barrel carburetor and electronic ignition. Custom over-sized radiator and transmission cooler. Dual exhaust with ‘smitty’ style mufflers. Ford AOD 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission with stock converter.

INTERIOR

Custom 6-way power seats (both driver and passenger) in cloth & vinyl, A/C (blows cold air), VDO vintage gauges, column shift w/tilt wheel, AM/FM/CD player, remote door opener.

CHASSIS & DIFFERENTIAL

Stock ’48 Ford frame, Mustang II Power rack & pinion steering front-end, Power brakes (4-wheel disc), 9” ford differential w/’open’ 3.23 gears Superior 7 x 15 wheels w/ 205 x 70r x 15 radial tires.
