This vehicle started out life in New Mexico as a 351 2V and lived there until the current owner purchased it in 2006. This vehicle is as rust free as you will find in anywhere.
Updates and modifications include the following:
EngineFive year old 5.0L Ford Racing Engine with Aluminum heads, Headman Ceramic Headers, Powder coated GT40 intake, new injectors, new mass air. The wiring and controls were professionally built harness designed for this conversion. Runs and sounds great. Exhaust is custom Flowmaster system that installed correctly to maintain underbody clearance. Less 3000 miles on engine and transmission. TransmissionRebuilt Ford AOD transmission rated to 600HP. Great drive ability and loves the highway with the overdrive.Rear AxleFord 9 inch with 3.73 gear added during the powertrain.SuspensionHeidts tubular control arm and crossmember system. Includes rack and pinon power steering and upgraded brakes. You will notice that this conversion included coil over springs. During the conversion the shock towers were removed and professionally replaced with welded in smoothing plates. That makes working under the hood so much easier and so clean to look at. Rear shocks were replaced at the same time. This vehicle handles very well and the ride is smooth.Tires and Wheels215 70R 15 Michelin tires on Rally 500 WheelsCustom InteriorLeather interior from 2010 Mustang GT. Both the front and rear seats were modified to fit stock seating mounts.Front driver seat is power.Convertible TopA new and upgraded high end canvas top was professionally installed and includes the glass rear window option.Includes a vinyl parade boot as well. Top is power an works great.Other ItemsCooling is via 3 core aluminum radiator with a temperature controlled electric booster fan that assists the factory fan on the engine.Under carriage is clean and rust free. Torque boxes and convertible plates appear to original and straight.Rear frame rails are clean and rust free.All gauges work......clock does NOT work.The rear taillights have sequential conversion installed.Front headlamps are halogen custom pieces that work great.
