Questions please call: 619.607.0070 This is a a really great chance to buy a owner's own restomod, with much-luv, 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe with 4-barrel V-8 289 with automatic transmission and Pony Interior. Originally painted green just like today, now back in the stunning Ivy Green Metallic with complementing interior being two-tone Light Ivy Gold Crinkle Vinyl with White Crinkle Vinyl Pony Interior. With this Mustang you can add a few finishing touches and go drive it until your heart is content. It is a great car and very close to finished with only a few areas needing attention. The car is solid "As-Is" with only the slightest amount of paint issues with a few bits of small (patina) paint chips and two tiny bubbles (see photo)on lower door front as is typical. This West Coast car was a true Barn Find type car that was sitting needing paint, some trim rework, interior work and mechanical restoration (all finished now) including new engine and transmission after it was discovered to be returned to glory. Options include today some neat performance upgrades so the car is really fun to drive and a little sporty with Edelbrock intake, JBA Headers and true 2 1/2" JBA mandrel dual exhaust, Holley carb, high energy ignition, transmission cooler and aluminum radiator, Air Conditioning and manual steering with steering box replaced by manual rack and pinion and four-wheel power disc brakes. It was built in January 20, 1966 in the Ford plant in San Jose and originally sold in September. Original color was the unique green with matching blue interior. The white top is torn and like most of the cars parts, appears to be the original top. Today the car features after-market aluminum American Racing wheels in the original Torque Thrust style but polished. A great radio in is installed.
