1979 Ford 4x4 Truck Unrestored Lariet Edition

1979 Ford F-150 f150 Additional Info:

Fresh Off the farm

It is a true survivor that has not been molested, modified nor butchered up

I recently purchased this truck from a farmer just north of Charlotte, NC

It is one of theMost originalLongbed trucks that I have seen in recent years.

The truck still has most of its original paint.

You can tell where someone has used what looks like silver roof paint to go over the top of the bed rails and hood.

The truck is a Lariet edition and comes with most options offered in 79

Tilt Wheel, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, Delay Wipers, Automatic Transmission, Cruise Control, Quad Shock front suspension, Deluxe Lariet Interior

Tagged and Insured in passed month.. Transmissionworks fine,

Transfer CaseShifts into and out of4 wheel drive..

Really good set of Michelin LTX / AT 235-75-15

on 8 inch wide Chrome wheels

Floor Pans and Cab Mounts ... Solid..No problems

Some Surface Rust on Frame Rails and Inside of Bed

The truck needs a Little TLC on almost everthing

The tilt wheel does not stay locked in position

Air Conditioning looks complete ..but does not work

Cruise Control looks complete .. but does not work

Radiator has been replaced with new plastic one..have original

Electric fuel pump installed..do not know why

Front Bumper bent, Front Grille bent, Rear Bumper Bent

Tailgate has rust thru spot just above handle

Rear bed has rust on Drivers side..1 inch spot thru first layer of metal

Passengers side door has dent

Driver side of seat has seperatedat the seam and you can see the foam

I think the motor has a blown head gasket....

Water going somewhere..Oil looks good... no foam in radiator

You were probaly going to freshen the 400m motor anyway

The truck does not look like anyone has ever done alot to it.

Under the hood looks original with most of the wires and hoses in place..... It looks like it did in 1979 ....

Remember in 79 and 80 the first thing we done to a truck was to knock out the small gas filler hole .. so we could still fill up with regular gas

Buy this truck as an Original Unrestored truck that is

going to need a little Loving everywhere

Odometer shows 44868 miles

but I would think this truck has more than 100k miles

This truckwould be a Great candidate for Short bed Conversion
