1990 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat Additional Info:

Up for sale is a 1990 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat Edition, 2-Door Super Cab Pickup. Seating for up to 6 people. Vehicle is equipped with a 7.5L V8 Engine and an automatic transmission. Interior is tan with minor wear that does not show its age. Exterior is a two tone of chocolate brown and caramel with a set of light tan pin stripes that accent the two tones beautifully, a classic that is not seen often in this original condition. This truck was bought new in Napa, California and has had senior owners it's whole life. It still has it's original Napa, CA Ford dealership license plate frames. It is currently owned by my 84 year old father, but it is just too much truck for him. This was the top of the line in 1990.

Recent work:

New cap, rotor, plug wires, spark plugs

Newer shocks

New belt tensioner

New oil and filter

Transmission service

Full chassis lube

Full brake inspection

The complete truck is in beautiful mechanical condition and ready to go. It was only used a couple of times to pull a 5th wheel trailer. The truck was professionally set up with the hitch unit and custom wiring/plugs and electric surge brake controller. No rust and mostly original paint. Looks like the hood and the roof had been repainted at some point, but appears as if it was warranty clear coat issue when newer, not any damage. The paint is getting thin is a couple of areas due to waxing and polishing. There is some small areas down to the primer on the LH fender, on the side color, and the front valance below the grill, mostly just due to road use and old paint, I would assume. This is normal aging. Please see photos.. Beautiful chrome, straight bumpers, nice clean and original body with only a couple of minor dings here and there and some light scratches here and there, due to just general light use over the last 29 years! The interior is excellent. The front driver's seat area is showing some aging and deterioration due to just basic use, as would be expected. Beautiful, exceptionally clean chassis, this truck has not been used off road or in any adverse weather/road conditions. It has been used as a senior hauler, mostly to the hardware store and occasional vacation. Other than that, it has been stored out of the weather and used as a "second" car.

Vehicle runs and drives smooth and is equipped with a 5th wheel attachment in the bed. A.C. blows cold. A upgraded, top quality stereo has been professionally installed. All features work 100%. It drives smooth and quiet, with no suspension or body rattles or issues. No engine or drive line leaks, the chassis is very dry and clean. This is the last generation 7.5 Liter 460 big block with the center bolt aluminum valve covers and fuel injection, considered to be the finest of the last of the big blocks. The transmission is also has overdrive, so freeway driving is enjoyable at higher traffic speeds. Very low miles!! The truck is ready to drive anywhere. Vehicle comes with a clean California title and registration is current and valid to 05/19. Comes with 4 sets of keys (2 sets are the originals from new), and the original owner's manuals, etc.

This Ford is the perfect truck for collectors or anybody that is looking for a reliable truck/ 5th wheel hauler. Not many Fords of this quality come up on the market these days, and can be considered an American classic. This truck has not been restored, detailed, or otherwise doctored or modified. The truck has been used, but never abused. There are small dings here and there, and paint blemishes here and there, it has been a "old retired guy's truck" it's whole life..What you see is how it has always been kept and maintained. This is a very straightforward and honest truck. Don’t let this rare classic Ford slip through your fingers. God Bless America!!
