1969 Shelby GT500 - Rare and gorgeous

Rare and gorgeous, this low mileage Shelby GT500 is 1 of 1.

Overview
odometer: 39,734 VIN: 9F02R480449 Engine: 428/4V CJ Ram Air Transmission: Manual Paint: Gulfstream Aqua Blue Interior: Clarion Knit White Vinyl

Rare and gorgeous, this low mileage Shelby GT500 is 1 of 1. Only 1 Shelby GT 500 in 1969 was built in this color combination with a 428/4V CJ Ram Air engine, close ratio 4 speed, 3.91 Traction Lock differential and Drag pack option. To top things off this 1 of 1 Shelby has only 39,000 original miles. This car is all original with the exception of a replacement 428/4V CJ Ram Air engine block (built February 1969) and a show quality repaint expertly applied by Mustang Ranch of Salt Lake City, Utah in 2006. This Shelby has amazingly only been driven 300 miles since it was repainted. Finished in factory Gulfstream Aqua blue with gold stripes over the original untouched Clarion Knit white vinyl interior, this Shelby retains its original chrome bumpers, bright work, emblems, wheels, drivetrain, as well as its original hard to find fog lights and light covers. The car came equipped from the factory with vinyl high-back seats, sport deck rear seat, AM radio, power front disc brakes, power steering, deluxe racing seat belts, warning light, trip odometer and tachometer. This Shelby has a period correct Hurst shifter added at some point in its history but should the new owner so desire the original shifter goes with the car. The car comes equipped with original Shelby mag wheels and has extremely hard to find original style polyglass black wall tires. To insure this Shelby is ready to go the car has recently been serviced with all engine, drive train and rear differential fluids being replaced. The brakes and brake lines were also replaced along with the battery. This Shelby looks and drives like new, makes excellent power and is a real joy to drive. Well documented in the Shelby registry this car has a clear chain of ownership. The car comes with deluxe Marti Report documenting that this 1969 Shelby GT500 is one of one. This Shelby is a true turn-key car that would be an outstanding addition to your collection.
