1982 Ford Mustang GT Additional Info:

1982 Mustang T-Top GT For Sale.
The car is located in Arlington TX 76011 This is fully loaded 4 speed car with T-Tops, AC (needs charging), rear wiper, CC, PL, PW, PS, PB, power hatch release, and leather seats. The only gauge that currently does not work is the Speedo. It currently has a restored GT steering wheel. I do have the original cruise steering wheel that will go with the car as well.

It is mostly original with the exception of a 8.8 rear end with 3:73 gears, Magnaflow dual exhaust setup and an NOS Pioneer super tuner 3 AM/FM cass deck. When I bought the car it had AREO side windows, I replaced them with the correct windows and trim and added SVO sail panels. The brakes have been upgraded to 87-93 with all new parts and stainless brake lines. The car now has new Ford lower control arms new inner and outer MOOG tie rods. The shocks and struts have been replaced with KONI orange, the quad shocks are KONI reds. New SVT rear lower control arms and SVT lowering springs were also added. I put on a set of LMR TRX rims with Sumitomo 225-55-16 tires. Also put in a new battery, replaced wires with new Ford Racing, Autolite plugs, MSD cap and rotor. A PA Performance 3G alternator replaces the original unit. The radiator was replaced with an SVT unit with Motorcraft upper and lower hoses. I replaced the trashed Marchal fog lamps with a good set with decent covers. The fuel tank and sender were replace, new fuel lines were installed at the same time. Also, the power lock actuators and window motors have been replaced. I also have all the original paperwork from the initial sale. I have a set of MM sub frame connectors that will go with the car.

I bought this with the intention of getting it back to a nice driver. It currently runs good but, could use some TLC. There is a small rust spots (size of a quarter) on each rear quarter. Underside is rock solid...I welded in a small section on the driver’s side foot board. The floor pan was covered with X-mat. For the most part the car is rock solid with minor surface rust. I treated all the spots I could find with Eastwood products. I have replaced most of the soft trim on the interior with new/ very good used parts. The seats have been upholstered in MACH 1 TMI seat covers with 83 mesh halos, the rear seat has been changed over to a split fold. I also added SVO shifter boot and e-brake handle. The dash pad is the newer molded units, it looks OK but, I do not care for the fit. I’m sure I am leaving out something, please look at the pics if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
