1959 Ford Thunderbird Standard Additional Info:

For sale is my '59 Ford Thunderbird. This car is a super fun car. It is original a California car, then it sat in a barn in Kansas for 30 years, then I got it and put 25,000 miles on it. I installed a new generator, water pump, belts, air cleaner, Petronix ignition, carpet, headliner, and visors, as well as the FUNCTIONAL Lake Pipes and PORTER steel pack mufflers 20,000 miles ago. I have had this car 4 years and have put OVER 20,000 miles on it. This car is an excellent road car, and it sounds SOOO GOOOD! I drove it from central Colorado to Minnesota and back twice. It is super solid and very original! The car comes with some issues, as it is 60 years old. It will need new ball joints installed up front (included with the sale of the car) and an alignment. The car also includes some other parts that I had purchased for it in preparation for it's restoration, including some window rubber and weather-stripping, the aforementioned ball joints and some extra misc. parts. This car is for your restoration. There are things that should be paid attention to immediately (ball joints) and some things that can wait to be fixed while you enjoy driving the car! The engine is a stock 352 with a brand new water pump installed and Petronix ignition added. It has chrome Thunderbird valve covers and a gold painted stock air cleaner. The engine does burn/leak a bit of oil, but the Ford FE motors are notorious for that. Just check it once a week or every 250-500 miles and you're fine. Oil is cheap! Sold with the Astro Supreme chrome 5 spokes shown, or if you want the car for a bit less, I will put those tires on some regular gold painted steel wheels without hubcaps. Feel free to call (218) 770-5795 with any questions! I am a private seller but I know my way around a vehicle. Thank you!
