1978 F 150 4X4 EXPLORER

1978 Ford F-150 Explorer Additional Info:

1978 4X4 F150 Explorer Ranger has the 400 ci engine, C6 transmission and np 205 transfer case. It is also equipped with cold AC, cruise control, tilt wheel and also the rare factory 8 track cb radio combo that works great. The interior is in excellent condition. The only thing that would need to be replaced is the carpet on the drivers side, it's worn. It looks as if it has been repainted at some point and it's not perfect but looks good. No rust in the usual places such as floors, fender wells, cab corners. They all look good. It drives amazing for it's age. The motor, transmission and 4 X 4 all work great. I have had a lot of the 78' 79' fords and this one is by far the smoothest and quietest driving. All lights and gauges work as they should. The only thing not working is the cruise control. Mileage shows 83,667 and seems to me to be accurate.
