1957 Ford Fairlane Fairlane 500 Additional Info:

If you are looking for a very nice rust free 1957 Ford, ook no further. Most of these are rusted out or filled with bondo..I could find no rust or bondo anywhere on this car. A previous owner told me it had never been wrecked and I believe it, s all the glass has the Ford stamping on it. The wing glass has edge bubbles but are clear. The seals around those wings could use replaced to eliminate hiway wind noise. All other glass is fantastic. It had an older restoration but has held up very well. I have owned it about 5 years and drive to all local shows and usually win! Interior is very nice with no rips or tears and all the chrome and trim shines bright. Starts and runs great. Will cruse down the road at 70 with no shimmy or wobble. It has power steering and drives very nice and stops great. It also has the push button radio with the optional "wonder bar" and it works! This car was built in the Long Beach, a plant and spent almost all of its years in the dry Calif climate and it shows. The clock does run, ut not properly so I removed its fuse. The wipers are vaccum type and do not work but I never get it out if it looks like rain.....replacing them with electric is easy....just never did it. This car is very original and considered a driver quality car that you can drive to shows and cruze ins. I can facilitate your shipper but that cost and arrangement is up to you. I encourage you to come look and I am confident you will be pleased. Text or call me at 405-630-7054 for and questions and details that I'm sure I have left out. To be fair to all, lease do not ask the reserve but it is very fair. $500.00 down at end of auction (pay-pal prefered) and balance due in 7 days and when funds clear.

I have had some questions about fluid leaks. It does leave a small spot after sitting that my mechanic says is probably the rear main seal. He thinks it is not enough to fix as he works on many classic cars and says they all leak something somewhere! I just wanted to add this info for everyone.
