This 1973 Ford F-100 has been in one family since it was purchased new. It has been very gently used over its lifetime. It came with a 360 engine, which was original dealer upgraded to a Ford factory re-manufactured 390, 49,047 miles ago in 1987. Except for plugs, points, air cleaner element and an oil and filter change, the engine is original, Ford blue, uses no oil, and has no oil leaks. All other restoration activities were and are intended to get the pickup back to a like-new condition. The body and bed have been completely sanded out, spot primed, and five-coat polyurethane painted the original "Wimbledon White", as were the five original wheels. The inside of the bed has received a spray-in thick black coating, for wear resistance. It has the original grill, bumpers, chrome trim strips, jack and handle, hubcaps and the 2-inch receiver hitch. It has never been in an accident. All the original gauges, switches and controls function properly. The driver's seat was a little worn, and a new seat cover was installed. The window channels and mechanisms were inspected and lubricated. The door panels are original, and the floor mat was replaced with an F-100 specific new one. It does not have AC. It does come with the original owner's manual. In short, this pickup presents, runs and functions like a vehicle with only 49,047 miles. You will be the second owner, and the first owner outside the family.
