This is for a Nice Refurbished Original 1932 Ford Flathead V-8 Cabriolet Convertible with a Rumble Seat.

Specifics:
  • This car was purchased by the present owner in 1995 and the refurbishing work was completed in 2003.
  • This Car is stored in a Climate ControlledStorage Facility, and it is occasionally used in local parades and other events.
Refurbishing Details:
In 1995, the present owner sent this car out to a local shop to have it refurbished by having the following work performed...
  • The original body was is nice condition, however, the original black paint was showing it's age, so the owner had the car completely repainted... The Body was repainted on the frame andall of the parts (fenders, doors, hood, and etc) were removed from the body and then they were paintedindividually. The Frame was then detailed.
  • All of the Electrical Wiring was replaced.
  • The Mechanical Brake system was totally rebuilt with NOS / NORS parts where needed.
  • The Front and Rear Axle assemblies were cleaned and rebuilt with NOS / NORS parts where needed.
  • The Front and Rear Shocks were replace with NORS original type.
  • The Gas Tank was replaced with a New Reproduction Steel Tank.
  • The Radiator was tested, cleaned, and repaired.
  • All of the Cooling System parts were replaced.
  • The Exhaust system was updated.
  • The stock 18" Wheels were stripped, straightened, and repainted.
  • New 525/550-18 B.F. Goodrich Tires were installed and balanced.
Other Details:
  • The previous owner of this car stated that the stock looking 1932 Ford Flathead V-8 Engine was rebuilt in the early 1990's... However, the Intake Manifold, Fuel Pump, and Generator have been changed and are from a later model (1934-1936) Ford Flathead V-8. The Carburetor is a Stromberg 97, and it was rebuilt a few years ago.
  • The engine runs very smooth and quite and it does not get hot, even in some of the long parades that it has been used in, here in San Antonio, Texas.
  • The interior and rumble seat area is nice, and theconvertibletop is in good condition and operates smooth.
  • This car also comes with it's originalFordTool Pouch and assorted Tools. However, the tool pouch has seen it's better days... See picture.
  • The original electric horn is not working at this time. Although, it has been know to work sometimes.
