1969 Ford F-100 Additional Info:

8ft bed, 60ci engine, 6 automatic transmission, ower steering and power brakes. Bought in Arizona back in Oct 2010 off of the original owner. Old man had it for years using it for hunting and camping. Truck had 89,000 original miles on it when I bought it. I only put 15,000 on it in the last five years. This truck ran and still does run like the day he drove it off the lot. I couldn't and still can't believe how tight and sound this truck drives, t's unbelievable. As well as the truck drove the look of it was far less then what I was prepared to be seen in. The problem was how perfect it was mechanically, o I had to buy it based solely on that and the fact that it spent its entire life in Arizona so it was 100% rust free. I Drove it back from Arizona over 400 miles....rode like a Cadillac. Got it home and parked it. Did some small mechanics to it such as new battery and new alternator. Didn't know if I even needed either but did it anyway. Next I had to make a decision whether to drive it as is or go all the way and restore it back to its original state. I decided the latter. Every part used to bring this truck back to life was original and when I couldn't find OEM parts I ordered from LMC. (LONG MOTOR COMPANY) Reproduction company out of Kansas. First the mechanical was done.
1. Rebuilt front end and alignment.2. Complete brake system rebuilt including NEW master cylinder and a power brake conversion. {Used original Ford bracket to house booster. When I say complete rebuild of brakes I mean every nut and bolt and spring.}3. Rebuilt Original 9" rear end.4. Rebalanced drive-shafts5. All new universal joints.6. New carrier bearing.7. New shocks8. New battery9. New alternator.10. New fuel pump.
All work done by B & I in Burbank, a. Have all paperwork.
Now the cosmetics......basically everything!
1. Brand new Professional paint job done by All State Auto Body in Van Nuys, a. (Used modern Ford Paint #UA Black. Has a lifetime Warranty)2. All new Moldings ordered from LMC. New trim everywhere except the tailgate. Cleaned and straightened the original moldings on the gate. Scale of 1 to 10 they're 7 or 8.3. Reconditioned the original Ranger grill. 69 is the only year for the Ranger grill with the red stripe and they do not reproduce it so I had mine dipped and anodized it back to showroom condition.....looks amazing!4. Every emblem has been replaced with brand new LMC emblems...5. New reconditioned OEM hubcaps.6. Brand new LMC chrome bumpers. (Front & Rear)7. The interior has been redone. (Carpet, eat, eadliner.)8. New windshield plus replaced all rubber moldings with LMC moldings to allow mounting of chrome window trim to retain the stock look.9. New rubber door seals. Doors close perfectly and have the original manufacturer gapes and alignments. (Could use new window felt, till has the original felt that is pretty worn.)10. Replaced gauge cluster with a much nicer one bought from ebay. (Mileage is approximately 30,000 less than original worn out gauges. So it now shows 74,000 but truck actually has 104,000 on it.)11. Brand new tail lights, urn signal lenses, arker lights and license plate lights.. All ordered from LMC.
(All restorations took place between 2011 to the present)
Truck turned out amazing! Looks, uns and drives like NEW! Couldn't be better and always garaged and driven lightly around the San Fernando Valley.
Please call 818-261-2390 with any questions.
New radiator installed and thermostat replaced. (Work was done by Crabtree in Burbank, a. Have receipts) Also had a call with a question about air. The truck is setup for air, removed the original blower vents when restoring the interior and have everything safely in a box ready to be reinstalled. All hoses are there as well, owever it is missing the most important part..the compresser was missing when I bought it.
HAD 4 BRAND NEW TIRES PUT ON THE TRUCK AT WESTERN TIRE IN BURBANK, A. TRUCK DRIVES STRAIGHT AND SMOOTH AS GLASS.
Thanks.
