1958 Ford Fairlane Skyliner Additional Info:

Barn FindFord Fairlane Skyliner. Barn find 67k original miles. Car has been off the road and stored in garage since 1970. This car is extremely solid no rust or rot anywhere under the carpets inside car or in trunk. There is surface rust and paint is spider cracked. This car will make someone one incredibly nice car after a light restoration. Motor runs but seems tto have a sticky valve. Top does go up will go down when some of the time. That should not be an issue for someone that is restoring the car due to having to take the trunk lid off to restore. I have provided all the information found via the cowl tag below. Clean Title have maintenance paperwork from original owner as well as Bill of sales.VIN: H8EW126764 Engine CodeHV8 352 ci OHV - 4V Carb. 300hp (Power option) Production Year81958 Assembly Plant (E) Mahwah, NJ Body Style (W) Fairlane 500 Hide-Away Hardtop Production Sequence126764126764 Body Series51AFairlane "500" Hide-Away Hardtop Paint Colors (E) Colonial White Trim (G)Colonial Sof-Textured Vinyl and Black Random-Block Patterned Fabric or Black Royal Scot Tweed Date Code26L November 26, 1957 Transmission Type3Fordomatic (2-speed) Rear Axle04.11:1I have a lot more pictures if you want to contact me I can send you pictures of what you may want to see.
NOTE : You are looking at a car that’s been sitting for 48 years. This car needs to be restored to make 100% prefect. Everything comes with the car as it did in 1958. Surface rust, rough idle, spider cracked paint can all be expected on a car like this. There are a few areas that will need some rust repair on the quarters and lower fenders.
