1960 Ford P100 Additional Info:

Hello, this listing is for my 1960 Ford P100 Step Van with a Ward Motors body. It is very small, only about 14-ft long bumper-to-bumper. This was originally an Omar Bread Truck. I have only seen a couple of these in this body style. The body is almost entirely fiberglass and aluminum, with the exception of the doors which are sheet metal.
I bought this one out of Michigan a couple years ago where it had sat in a field for several years,it was last used as a locksmith vehicle. I have a clear Michigan title with it from 1985. I started to swap the engine, but just don`t have the time to finish it. Engine and transmission are currently out of the vehicle. Too many projects!
The original 144-ci engine was in need of replacement,so a slightly newer 200-ci out of a `65 Econoline was sourced that will work with the original bellhousing and manual transmission. The replacement engine was re-gasketed,repainted,etc.,and was a good runner. I am including a brand new clutch set, brand new carburetor, new ignition switch, new slave cylinder, rebuilt starter, and more I am sure that I am forgetting. The replacement engine also has a good C4 automatic transmission still behind it if you wish to go that route instead.
The chassis is basically an F100 with an 8-ft wheelbase,so all of the brake and suspension pieces are easy to source. The wheels are 15-inch 5-lug.
The body is in decent shape for what it is. Some of the fiberglass was repaired poorly on the right rear corner at some point with body filler, and the doors will need a little work to make them a little more sturdy. There is a vent in the roof that needs to be replaced, and a new one is included. There is a little rust on the inside steps, but that is just flat diamond plate steel.
This would make a great project for someone, especially someone that has more time then projects (not me).
This is located in Batavia,IL 60510. You are welcomed and urged to come see it in person if you are able to do so.
I would like it payed for within 1-week and picked up within 2-weeks.
